I live with my kitty brother Samson, foster cats, 2 bunnies, and 4 ratties.Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.comBlogger53125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-15834836023492402312010-07-17T22:12:00.000-07:002010-07-17T22:12:48.697-07:00Volunteering and New Toys!Mommy is feeling much better now, so I guess all those purrs you sent, and all the purring we kitties did on her worked! Thanks guys! Mommy says thanks too!

We didn't do too much this week, Mommy was sick for the first part of the week, and Jenn came over lots, and helped Mommy feel better. They locked us out of the bedroom though one night, and Samson was MAD! He was being really bad, and banging on the door, and being a pest. Finally they got tired of it and let us back in, but Mommy and Jenn and Lisa were NOT happy with him the next day. Samson just hates getting locked away from Mommy, even if she is just sleeping, or going to the bathroom. He gets all crazy.

Mommy worked on Wednesday and Thursday, and we missed her, since we have gotten used to her being here almost everyday. Mommy only works a few days a week in the summer, and we like it that way. We get lots more cuddles, and playtime, and love.

We got new stuff from the fundraiser!

Today, we got left alone all morning and afternoon, but we were okay with that, since it was all for a good cause! Today was a fundraiser for the Animal Love Foundation, which is where we all come from, and who Mommy fosters for. They had a big car wash and dog wash, with handmade pet toys, a bake sale, a BBQ, and a draw! The local radio station even came to help spread the word, and play some great music!

Lisa went with Mommy to help out, and they helped out at the BBQ, taking money and getting buns ready while another volunteer did the actual grilling. They saw lots of adorable doggies, and nice people, and raised money to help pay for all the sick kittens they have right now, and spays, neuters, medical costs and of course the essential items like food, litter etc. Lots of people came, and Mommy's mother got her car washed too!

Mommy and Lisa said it was a lot of fun, though Mommy ended up with a bad sunburn. Mommy is well...PALE. People always tell her she is the palest person they have ever seen, and Mommy jokes that she is one step away from albino. Mommy wears 60spf sunscreen, but she still got burned!

Mommy says she looks like one of these now!

The BEST part about the fundraiser though... NEW TOYS! Mommy got 5 new toys for us! Three catnip pillows, a kitty kicker, and a piggy tail. Two of the catnip pillows have cows on them, just for Lexy, but of course she shares with us too!

Lexy models her new cow-print toys

The kitty kicker is fun! It has crinkles in it, and lots of catnip, and its the perfect size to grab on to and bunny kick like crazy! I LOVE catnip, and these toys are nice and strong, and the toys are so much fun! The piggy tail is a curly knitted "tail" with a bell on then end. We already got one from an adopt-a-thon that Lexy went to, and Mommy knew we liked it, so she got us a nice dark purple one.

Samson checks out the new toys. Which one should he play with first?

There are lots of ways your Mommies can help out local rescue groups, and if they already don't, urge your Mommies or Daddies to volunteer as foster parents, or drivers to pick-up or take sick kitties to vets or adoption events, or even help on the websites. There are so many great volunteers out there, helping out all the kitties and doggies and other animals who need homes, and I am thankful for every single one of them! If not for them, I would have been *gulp* put to sleep, and wouldn't have my wonderful home, and Mommy, and all of you nice cats to talk to!

Have a great weekend everyone!Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-65039396797234848782010-07-14T01:16:00.000-07:002010-07-14T01:16:13.302-07:00Feeling Better!Well, it was much cooler on the weekend, and I am feeling much better! I am even getting my meow back!
It sounds a little funny, not my usual glorious voice, but its better than nothing!

I missed snuggling Mommy when she was gone, but the night before she left, she had her new girlfriend sleep over, so I got cuddles from both of them! And Lisa was nice and fed and played and cuddled us, and remembered to give me cat nip! She even let the bunnies out to run, and turned on our Fling-a-ma-String toy!

I am happy Mommy is back though, because she needs me! On the Sunday morning Mommy was coming home, she woke up feeling kinda yucky, and when they stopped for coffee, she REALLY started feeling bad. Its a good thing Jenn (her girlfriend) pulled the car over, cause Mommy had to puke! Now, us kitties are pretty good barfers, we can do it pretty often, between hairballs, eating cat grass, or eating too fast. But Mommy almost NEVER throws up. She says she only threw up ONCE since she was in something called grade 3, so apparently that is a very long time, like a million years or something, and it means that Mommy has to be pretty sick for her to actually barfy.

So it turns out Mommy caught a bad cold just like we had, probably from the kids where she works. Mommy works part time as a nanny, taking care of two little kids. I guess last Thursday, the little boy had a bad cold, and got his germies all over Mommy and made her sick!

So you know what that means! I have to lay on Mommy, and purr, and keep her warm and cozy, just like she did when I was sick. It is nice to make her feel better, though she keeps saying that having cat hair up her nose doesn't help her stuffy sinuses, whatever that means!

Last night Jenn came over to help Mommy feel better, and she infringed on my Mommy cuddles again when she slept over. I like having Mommy to myself, but I guess that way I can cuddle two people instead of just one! I still prefer my Mommy though, and so does Samson and Lexy. Samson really likes Jenn though, since she indulges his need for constant belly rubs. If this Jenn gets in the way of my Mommy and Monty time too much though, I may have to poop in her shoes.

So, we had a pretty boring, normal weekend, and we all feel much better, other than Mommy. I sure hope it doesn't get too hot again soon, since now that its a bit cooler and we aren't as sick, Samson and I can play and wrestle again!

I hope all you kitties who live where its hot have good ways to cool down, and have a great day!
(Sorry, no pictures today, Mommy wasn't here to take any on the weekend, and she feels to yucky to take any now!)Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-35995933932079411452010-07-07T15:45:00.000-07:002010-07-07T15:59:47.113-07:00It's HOT!! Also, Toby UpdateIt is HOT here where I live!
And it's even worse because its super duper humid too! We are lucky that our apartment doesn't get direct sunlight but it's still VERY hot! Mommy and Lisa have the fans on, and keep all the doors and windows closed to keep the heat out as best they can, but that only helps a little bit.

Mmmm the fan blowing on me feels so nice!

We haven't been able to do much at all, no wrestling, no games of Thundering Herd of Elephants, no getting into mischief at all! It's BORING. All we can do is laze around, lay on the tile or in front of the fan, or as Lexy does, lay in the sink!

Lazy Samson on the new chair aka "The Throne"

There is another reason we are being lazy, and that is because we are all not feeling well. I feel the worst of the three of us, and I have even lost my gorgeous voice! All I can do is a funny sounding squeak, and not even a good squeak like Lexy's normal Meow. We all have sore throats, and a little cough. Mommy talked to someone from Animal Love though, and they said to just keep an eye on it, we will probably get over it in a few days, and if not, Mommy will take us to the V-E-T. I don't want to go there, but I DO want my pretty voice back s I can serenade Mommy early in the morning, and talk to her and Lisa and everyone else!

Too hot to play!

Want to know the reason Mommy was talking to Animal Love in the first place? We got GREAT news!
Toby didn't actually go in to Petsmart on Sat, he stayed at Lori's (another great foster home) all weekend, since Lori had a bunch of other kittens that needed their shots. She picked up another kitten that was near by us at the same time. We got to see him, he was fluffy and orange and little like Toby, and his name was Titan! So Toby got a fun weekend, playing with all those other kittens, and on Monday, they all went in for their shots together, and into Petsmart. And then....

Snuggly little Toby and me in the cat tree

.....TODAY HE GOT ADOPTED!!! Lori just called Mommy and told us that both him and Titan got homes today! Not together sadly, but good homes! We are very happy for him, and hope it is a wonderful home full of love, and he is happy there for the rest of his life!

We miss him lots, he was our special little buddy, but now I don't get ambushed from above when I walk by the couch, and Lexy is VERY happy to be able to go back in the bathroom! She can drink from her sink again, and as you can see she has reclaimed it as hers!

Lexy loves her sink!

Well I hope you guys aren't as hot as we are! Mommy may just have to break down and buy a used air conditioner! Mommy is going away with a friend this weekend, so Lisa said she will take good care of us. We will miss Mommy of course, but if it cools down and we feel better, maybe we can get Lisa to throw us a catnip Party!

Lexy likes the cool air from the fan blowing on her belly!

How do you kitties beat the heat? And what do you do when you feel under the weather? We have been getting lots of treats and cuddles cause we feel icky, and fresh catnip from our big plant helps too!

Have a great, COOL, Wednesday Night!Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-75523272373214991162010-07-03T02:36:00.000-07:002010-07-03T02:36:42.452-07:00Goodbye Toby and Good Luck!Well, it's very early on Saturday right now, and Mommy and I can't sleep, because today is the day that Toby leaves us.

We have only had him for about two and a half weeks, but it seems like he has been here forever! We all had extra special cuddles with him all Friday, except for when Mommy went to her parents home to wash her clothes for free (They charge for it in the building) and Toby had to stay in the bathroom so that he could eat his food while she was gone. Toby's food is kept in there because a certain kitty *cough* Samson *cough* would eat it all up if it was left out. And well, I admit, I take a few nibbles too. It's just so tasty!

All day on Thursday, Toby was kept in the bathroom too, since Mommy went away to her Aunt's with her family for the Canada Day celebration. Her Aunt and Uncle just bought a huge property up near cottage country, and it took about 3.5 hours just go get there. So Mommy was gone from 8am until 10:30pm, and Toby was not happy being cooped up.

Silly Toby falls asleep in funny places!

Mommy made it a fun day though, she put dried nip all over the carpet and our cat tree, and gave me some fresh nip from the big plant Mommy has on the balcony. She also put out some toys we haven't played with in a few weeks, I love when she does that!

So our Canada Day was fun, other than Mommy being gone, and Toby being stuck in the bathroom with all his toys. What did you other Canadian kitties do?

Kitten Karate Kick! Pow! Right in the Kisser!

Now, as promised I will tell you what happened to Mommy's old roommate Chris, and his kitty Baby.

Mommy was having problems with Chris from the start, with him not helping out with housework, never remembering to give us food or water, NEVER cleaning the litter box, and being messy in general. Now, Mommy knows she is not perfect, and that us animals are messy and stinky sometimes, but Chris never [aid any attention to Baby, and would go away for days at a time. He also hadn't told Mommy when he moved in, that he was quitting school, so he wouldn't be getting money anymore from the government, and he didn't have a job. He DID get a job at one point, but he got fired after less than 2 weeks.

Mommy kept trying to remind him to help out, and give him some time to get back on his feet, but it just wasn't working out, so she asked him to move out the next month. He also wasn't on the lease, so that wasn't a problem.

Gorgeous Baby. We miss you pretty girl!

Now comes the sad part. When Mommy decided to let him move in, she thought it would be great, because Chris had also fostered cats for the same place Mommy fosters us. Then Mommy found out that Chris was no longer allowed to foster cats, after two cats died in his care, from something COMPLETELY preventable. Mommy won't tell me what, but she says it was purely neglect, and that made her very mad.

Mommy confronted Chris, and he said he didn't even know that was why the cats died, and didn't even notice the kitties were so very close to death until it was much too late. After Mommy talked to him, he agreed that he shouldn't have any animals since he couldn't take care of them, and had enough trouble taking care of himself. Mommy said she would keep Baby until she could find her the perfect new home, and was even going to ask if Animal Love could help find her a new home. Everything seemed okay, Chris was moving out soon, and Baby would be safe and cared for.

Then one day, while Mommy was at work, Chris and a friend of his came over, and they took Baby away without telling Mommy about it. We didn't even get to say goodbye to her, and neither did Mommy.
When Mommy got home, right away she noticed Baby was gone, and she was very very worried. She checked her email, and saw that Chris had emailed her only saying that he had taken Baby to live at his friends house. Now, this seemed to Mommy like Chris removed Baby so that he could keep her himself, even though he admitted he was in no way capable of caring for her. When Chris got home late that night, Mommy was MAD. Not only had Chris not paid rent or bills, or helped with costs for Baby, he had obviously taken her when Mommy was gone because he knew he was wrong to do it. They had a big fight, and it was scary. Mommy had asked him a few days before to leave in the next two days because he hadn't paid, and she wouldn't make him pay if he left right away, but he hadn't even started finding a place to stay yet, and he was still there. Now, Mommy knows she got extremely mad, mostly because she was so worried that Baby would end up like those poor cats that died if Chris took her back. Chris even admitted that he took her to his friends house so that he could take her back eventually, and said he knew it was purely selfish and not in Baby's best interest. He knows he shouldn't own animals, but he didn't care.

Baby, and Sam's ear

This is when it started to get scary. Mommy asked Chris to leave, as he had started to act very strange, and Mommy didn't feel safe with him there. Mommy is pretty small for a human, she is only a little over 5 feet tall, and doesn't weight much, and Chris is a BIG guy, over 6 feet tall, and close to 300 lbs. so Mommy was pretty worried. He refused to leave, and refused to give back the keys. Mommy was afraid that even if he left, he would come back while she was gone and try to hurt us, or her. After a lot of yelling, and Chris acting very very scary and strange, Mommy found out why Chris was acting so weird. He has some personal problems, that he was being treated for, but because he didn't have money, he stopped taking his treatment, even though its very dangerous to do so. He was having a crisis. Chris called the big people in the blue uniforms, making it sound like Mommy was the bad guy, and Mommy talked to them too, and Chris finally left the apartment to go wait for them, and Mommy's parents rushed over.

The people in the blue uniforms were very nice, and listened to Mommy and realized what had happened. They got the keys back from Chris, and took him to the big people vet to try and make him better. He wasn't allowed to come get his things without there being someone else there, even one of the people in the blue uniforms.

So, as you can see, it was a very scary, emotional night. Chris stayed at the big people vet for a few days, and then moved into a special place for people that need his kind of help. Mommy really hopes he gets better, but still really hopes he never takes Baby back, or gets another animal. We never heard about Baby ever again, and really hope she is okay, and happy and healthy at the house she is at, and gets lots of love from Chris' friend. Mommy liked the friend, and thinks she would be a great owner, but hopes that the friend doesn't let Chris take Baby back. I know Mommy has a lot of regrets that things turned out the way they did, but is glad that Chris finally got some help, and that Baby is safe.

Look how big Toby is now!

Well, that was a LONG story! You can see why I didn't tell it sooner, its long and a little sad. And this morning will be sad as well, when sweet little Toby goes to the vet for his shots, and then goes to the Petsmart Adoption cages.

We all love him, and Mommy has been asking everyone she knows to adopt him or Lexy, and wishes she could keep Toby forever, since we all get along so well, but there wouldn't be room to foster as much, and Mommy is also certain that Toby will get a new forever family pretty soon, since he is so sweet, cuddly, friendly and playful! We will miss you SOOOOOOOOOOOO much Toby! We loved having you here, and will think of you and love you always!
I am so so sorry for such a long break between posts!
Us kitties have been very busy, and Mommy has been too!
BUT! Now Mommy is done work for most of the summer, she will only work a few days a week now! So she will have lots more time to play ad snuggle with us, and of course blog more too!
We have been keeping up with everyone, but mostly reading, and not commenting.
Here are a few things that have happened since the last post:

There was a scary flood! The human litter box randomly decided to overflow! Luckily it was just water and nothing yucky, but it went half way down the long hall, and all the way into Mommy's room, and the other bedroom too! It was scary, and we didn't like having damp carpets fr the next few days!

Mommy's tattoo is great! It looks real pretty, though I wanted to lick it! Her vegan all natural tattoo balm smells REALLY nice, but Mommy kept telling me NO LICKING!

Mommy's new tattoo!

Mommy got a new roommate! Her name is Lisa, and she loves animals too! We like to play with her, and sleep on her bed, especially Lexy! She moved in mid June and so far her and Mommy get along really well. I realize I never explained what happened to Baby, but it is something scary and sad, so I will save it for a seperate post, maybe I will write it for right after this one!

And the day before Lisa moved in, so did someone else....

TOBY!!

Tiny Mr. Toby Kitten

Toby is a very very sweet little boy. Sadly, he is just a foster kitten, and he leaves on Saturday to go get his shots, and then go to the scary cage place where I was, to find his forever home. We are all very sure that Toby will get a forever family really fast since he is such a cute, sweet, and playful little fellow! We sure will miss him though!

Passed out next to Mommy

Toby was one of a litter of kittens born to a poor Momma cat that someone dumped at a farm. The woman whose farm it was didn't know much about kitties, so she just let them live outside. The Momma cat started bringing the kittens prey she had caught, but the kittens were still very young, and a few got sick, so the lady called Animal Love Foundation, and the kittens got picked up. Toby was the very sickest, and was very very skinny. When he was found at the farm, he was trying to chew on the foot of a dead baby chipmunk! Yuck!

"What should I pway wif next?"

After Toby was a bit better, Mommy was asked if she wanted to foster a little kitten for a while, and of course she said YES YES YES YES! Mommy was told that the kitten was maybe 8 weeks, and was very skittish and a little scared of people. Well they were very wrong! The kitten (Who didn't have a name yet) was only just about 6 weeks old, and LOVES people!

"I conquered da catnip ball!"

At first, Toby would only sleep all day. He played a little bit, and would follow me everywhere, prancing along behind me, but he slept a LOT, more than even a kitten should, and kittens sleep lots!
He wasn't eating, so Mommy tried mixing his wet food with kitten milk, but he wouldn't touch it. Then she tried just kitten milk, and he liked that, but it wasn't enough! Finally, Lisa and Mommy caught him stealing a bite of our big kitty food, and they thought "Hmm, maybe he just really doesn't like the wet food!" and they were right! He loves his kibbles!

Toby was EXTREMELY skinny, you could feel every single bone really well, and when you rubbed his belly, you could feel his organs! Now that he is eating though, he has padding over his bones, and a little chubby belly! He is about 8 weeks old now, and Mommy says he is starting to look more like a little cat than a skinny tiny kitten!

He can climb all the way to the very top of the cat tree! He is a little monkey!

He has almost too much energy now! He LOVES to play with us! He even got LEXY to play with him! And Lexy really doesn't like to play with other kitties. At first Sam was a little afraid of him, Lexy would hiss at him when he came near her, and I wasn't too sure about this little gray introoder following me around, taking up all Mommy and Lisa's attention, but now I really like him, and Sam and Lexy do too.

Me grooming Toby

We all groom him, from head to toe, and he purrs so loud when we do that! He also loves Mommy and Lisa too. He loves to snuggle, and have his now chubby belly rubbed! He even went into work with Mommy, and met the kids, and was great with them. He let them hold him and pet him and play with him. He went to Mommy's friend's apartment last night, and got to see her giant fish tank with her little puffer fish in it! He said it was really fun!

Well, that sure was a LONG post for the first one back! I hope you didn't all forget about us, or miss us too much! I sure missed posting, but it was nice to have a little break!

I PROMISE to finally tell you what happened to Mommy's old roommate Chris, and his kitty Baby later, and to post LOTS more this summer!
Can you believe that? She is going away for 3 whole days!
She is leaving straight from work tomorrow, and then coming home on Monday, but if traffic is bad, she might go straight to work. Mommy works until 9 on Monday nights, so that would mean we might not see her for a long time!

Luckily, Mommy asked Emily and Shawn to come feed us, give us love, and keep us from going completely crazy from missing Mommy. I will miss Mommy a whole bunch, and I know Sam and Lexy and the rats and bunnies will too, but I know that we will have lots of fun with Emily and Shawn. Plus, as a treat, Mommy got us some cat grass!
Mommy is going to some place called Toronto. It's only about 2 hours away from where we live in London, Ontario. Mommy's sister lives there, and Mommy will be staying with her. Mommy's mother is also going, but she is going to something called a conference, and is staying with a cousin who lives in Toronto.

On Sunday, Mommy is getting her tattoo! We mentioned awhile back that Mommy got a camera, a tattoo, and a piercing from the Charity Auction her sister did. Well, to get the tattoo and piercing, she has to go to Toronto, and so this weekend she is finally getting the tattoo done! She can't get the hole in her nose though, because the person who does that isn't there on weekends.

Purrsonaly, I don't understand why anyone would want to put a hole in any part of them, or get something written on them forever and ever, but Mommy likes it. Mommy already has a tattoo on her left wrist, the word "Dochas" with an accent over the O, that is the Gaelic word for Hope.

Mommy's first tattoo

This time, Mommy is getting a sort of symbol that she designed herself. Mommy is something called a Pagan, and this design has to do with that.

What Mommy's tattoo will look like

The "N's" represent Mommy's Pagan name, Nenet Nokomis. The sort of swirly thing is like a combination of the yin yang sign, the infinity sign, and is for balance. The water drop is because Mommy says she is a Scorpio and that is a water sign, whatever that means. BUT! It is also the four elements! See, the "N's" also look like mountains, for Earth, and in the other direction, they are like lightning bolts, for Fire. The Swirly thing is like wind, for Air, and the water drop is... its for Water, duh.

The explanation all drawn out. Sorry its a bit blurry!

For the past few months Mommy has been deciding where to get it on her body, and she mostly settled on the back of her neck. Now she is rethinking that though, and wondering if it would look better on her other inner wrist. What d you all think?

Mommy even has another tattoo planned for in a few years. Mommy has a lot of big scars from the 5 back surgeries she had a few years ago. The one goes all the way down Mommy's spine, from the bottom of her neck all the way to about 2 inches above her bum. She was told that since that scar was opened up 4 times, she would have to wait a long time before getting a tattoo over it, but eventually she is getting a zipper over it! Mommy says that she told the doctor if he was going to keep opening her up, he may as well put in a zipper, so it's kind of a joke. Also, after the 4th surgery, she had 75 little staples holding it closed (ouch!) and it looked like a zipper, so her Dad took the pull off his coat and taped it to the top of her "zipper" and took a picture right before the staples came out. Mommy is very excited for that tattoo!

What do you think? Is Mommy crazy for a) leaving US a whole weekend b) getting something written on her forever or c) being close to doing Eeny Meeny Miney Moe to decide whether it will go on her wrist or neck.

Yeah, I think she is crazy for all three too. Have a good weekend everyone! I hope your Mommies aren't as crazy as mine!Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-27270923912038912002010-05-12T17:49:00.000-07:002010-05-12T17:49:57.449-07:00One Word Wednesday: Sunset

Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-46471384606916095572010-05-08T18:00:00.000-07:002010-05-08T18:00:26.566-07:00I got another Award!Geeze, I am so lucky to have such great bloggy friends!
My new buddies over at the Katnip Lounge gave me the Beautiful Blogger award!

They are a newer blog, and are super cool cats! Can you believe they have their own catio?! That's a patio that was made specially for them! You guys should all go check them out, 12 kitties live there!

Anyways, the rules for this award are that I tell you 7 new things about me ( or my family) and then pass the award on to 7 of my friends! Here goes!

1. Samson is part froggy. He just loves to lay with his back legs spread out behind him, in what Mommy calls the Frog position. He especially does it on the armrests of the couch. Our friend Cammy does it too, when she stayed here for a few weeks, Cammy would be on one armrest, and Sam on the other, both being froggies! Do any of you cats do that?

Frog-butt!

Only one froggie leg

2. There have been little buggies inside! Samson is the best at chasing them, and eating them too! Mommy says they are his extra protein! I like them too, and so does Lexy, but we don't seem to get them as easily as Sam does, he has super powers! But then, he is also a clutz. He was chasing an itty bitty buggy, and he jumped face first into the side of the armrest on the couch MOL.

Chasing a bug

3. Mommy's sister has been talking to someone about Lexy! They are friends of Mommy's sister, and they had two very nice kittens, but the kittens had kidney disease, and both had to be put down. As sad as that is, they might be interested in Lexy! Yay! Then we could get updates about her if they adopted her!

4. Samson likes to make out with Mommy's head. Mostly if Mommy hasn't showered yet that day. He will rub all over the back of Mommy's head, and will use his claws to sort of comb her hair, and he licks her hair like crazy. It is very strange, and Mommy giggles a lot when he does that, she says its very tickley. He is just giving her a new hair do!

Mommy's hair after Samson has made out with it. Isn't Samson's hair do nice?

5. Lexy loves to lay flat on her back, with all four of her feeties in the air, waving them around. I already posted a few pictures of her rug impression, but its so cute, you need to see another!

Lookit that big white belly!

6. The bunnies are very happy! Since it is springtime, all the dandelions are in bloom! Mommy goes out and picks lots of the leaves and flowers for the bunnies, and after she washes them, the bunnies get to gobble them up! They eat them so fast, you barely see them move their lips! They also like clover and violets!

7. Someone is coming to visit tomorrow! They are coming to see the apartment. Mommy says she seems like a very nice person, and also loves animals, but wouldn't be bringing her cat with her. I hope she likes our home, and that Mommy and her get along, and we can get a new roommate! There is another girl interested in the apartment too, and she will probably come see it later in the week. She has a kitty named Max who would come with her. Either way, I hope we can find a nice new roommate for us! Mommy doesn't have much money right now, since she pays for everything herself now. I just realized I never mentioned that Chris and Baby left in the beginning of march. Maybe next blog post I will tell you all why.

Well now you know 7 new things about us! Now we can pass it on to 7 of you! But so many people have gotten this award lately, its hard to know who has and who hasn't gotten it, so if you already have it, sorry!

Have a good Mother's Day tomorrow everyone, hug your Mommies and Beans, and Food Ladies tight! Without us they would be lost for sure!Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-30105178381989758342010-05-05T18:50:00.000-07:002010-05-05T18:50:45.666-07:00One Word Wednesday: Mirrored

Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-33294613689596467802010-05-02T07:15:00.000-07:002010-05-02T07:15:01.093-07:00Easy like SundayToday we are lazy!
There have been Mourning Doves sitting on our balcony, and we have been watching them, and there are moths on all the window screens.

There was just a Mourning Dove there!

I still like my sparkly green ball the best. It was in the toy basket for the last while, and I just never took it out, and Mommy hadn't picked it out to throw for me. So when I rediscovered it when Mommy threw it for me, its love all over again!

Lexy is being SUPER lazy! She is practicing her impression of a rug. I think she is pretty good at it, but she isn't quite flat enough. What do you think?

The reason Emily and Shawn were here on Friday, was because there were strange people coming in the apartment while Mommy was at work, and they made all sorts of loud noises and bad strange smells! Mommy says they were just resurfacing the bath tub, whatever that means. Mommy didn`t like having people in the apartment while she wasn`t there, so Emily and Shawn came and watched a movie while the people were there.

The bath tub was all peely on the bottom, but now its all smooth, and it STINKS!

I played a BIG trick on Emily and Shawn too! While the noisy people were here, making those nasty smells, I went and hid. Emily and Shawn had NO idea where I was, and were afraid I had somehow escaped. They looked in all the cupboards, and inside everything, and in every nook and cranny, and STILL they didn`t find me! They left for awhile, after the tub people were done and gone, and when Emily and Shawn came back, I was sitting calming waiting for them. I will never tell my hiding place! The building backs onto the river that runs through our city London, its called the Thames River. Mommy says that`s the same name as the big river in the London that is far away across a huge ocean!

Sam sitting at the balcony door listening to a woodpecker

We love to sit in the door way to the balcony when the screen door is open, and listen to all the birdies and buggies! It has been really warm and humid lately, so there have been lots of noisy frogs and bugs and birds around, especially at night!
Another good spot is on top of the cat tree, where we can see the trees, and if we look down, the river. We are on the 6th floor Mommy says, so right at tree level! We also sit on top of Mommy`s tall jewelery box that is on her desk, in front of the window. From there we can see down farther.

What we can see from the top of the cat tree

Well last night, the bugs were being really noisy, and there were little moths on the screen door. Sam was batting at them, and his claw got caught in the screen, so he pulled. Imagine our surprise when the screen moved too! Sam mewed to me, and I ran over to see. I poked my paw through, and it opened even wider! The best part was that MOMMY DIDN`T SEE!

The pretty river and forests our apartment overlooks

Sam was scared, so I poked my head through the opening, and pushed my way through until I was on the balcony! It was really dark, and there were lots of noises and bugs flying around! I hopped up on the chairs, and sniffed the leaves and stuff. By then Samson had followed me out, and we had lots of fun for a few minutes, looking all over.

This is what out balcony looks like. Its actually longer than you can see with a lounge chair and table

Lexy must have noticed we were missing, and saw the door open, and she was just going out when Mommy happened to notice her escaping. Mommy ran over and Lexy realized we were in big trouble, and ran inside. Sam came out from under the table, and when Mommy went towards him, he ran inside.
I was not so easily tempted in. I was hiding under the chairs, and since it was pitch dark, Mommy couldn`t see me. She started looking under the other chairs, but I knew she wouldn't let me stay out, so I came out of hiding, and let her herd me back in.

Aren`t we lucky?

Mommy says she was just terrified we would jump up on the ledge to see, and fall all the way down to the ground, but we were just sniffing, I swear! We didn`t even think of going on the ledge... but now I wish I had!

Sadly, Mommy will be watching us like a hawk whenever the screen door is open, but now we know that the screen doesn`t latch! We will just have to wait until she is busy again! He he he!

Do any of you kitties escape outside? Or are you allowed to go outside?Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-18851711641999614342010-04-25T19:35:00.000-07:002010-04-25T19:35:20.130-07:00Playtime!We had a great weekend! It had lots of friends and playing, and nip and toys!

Yesterday Mommy had friends over, and we all got lots of attention and playtime!

First, Mommy made a new friend who lives in her building. He lives just a floor up, and his name is Shawn. Emily met him first, and then introduced him to Mommy. He has a kitty named Choo choo bear, and he used to have a doggy. His doggy has a new home now though. He came over for a little while and Mommy introduced him to all of us. He played with us and petted us. It's fun to meet new friends!

Then, Mommy's friend Anne came over. Mommy hasn't seen her a lot in the last year since she went away to some place called New Zealand! That is where Poppy Q lives!

Well, Anne worked at Christchurch botanical gardens, and then traveled all over New Zealand. Mommy is very jealous, especially since next September, Anne is going to Ecuador to work in the Rainforests! Anne took horticulture in college, and now she is getting to travel and see some amazing places!

Anne will get to go to pretty places like this in Ecuador!

Anne gave us lots of belly rubs, and thought we were very handsome, and in Lexy's case, pretty. I had met her before, but no one else had!

Shawn came over again later and when Mommy and him were watching TV I got cuddle time and pets, and the bunnies got play time. Bunnies were being Crazy! Mommy and Shawn were laughing at Lola, she was doing lots of binkies, and racing around.

Sam is laughing at the bunnies too

After the bunnies were back in their pen, Sam and I were playing, and Mommy decided that we should have a catnip party! Mommy dumped out all the toys, and gave us lots of our special super strong catnip! It was lots of fun!
Today was mostly boring. Mommy had gone to Shawn's with Emily until early this morning, so she slept a lot. But that's okay, that means we got to snuggle with her all day! And of course, we have to wake Mommy up every once in awhile to give us pets and cuddles..

It was a good weekend, meeting new friends, playing, cat nip, and snuggles! What did you guys do this weekend? Was it quiet and relaxing, or wild and crazy?
Leila wouldn't turn around, she was busy looking at the bunnies!

Mommy has a friend who lives in one of the buildings in our complex. Her name is Sofi, and she came over to visit on wednesday. But she didn't come alone! Sofi brought her service dog, Leila with her!
Purrsonally, I like woofies. I have met a few, like when Mommy had her boobie-ectotmy and we stayed with Mommy's parents, they had a doggy and we were friends. I have met Leila before, and we got along great, and Lexy has met her too, though Lexy mostly hid. Sam had never met Leila though, so we weren't sure what he would think.

She LOVES pink! She has pink bowls, pink leash, pink collar, and pink bed!

Leila is a black standard poodle, though Mommy says she is quite small for a standard poodle. Leila LOVES all other people and animals, and as soon as Sofi and her came in, I rolled on my back and Leila gave me kisses. Leila is fun to play with, even though she can get a little too silly for me. Leila lives with 6 guinea pigs, 2 rats, and a kitty named Bella. There are also 2 other woofies staying in their apartment with their owners, and of course Sofi, and her partner Sam.

Leila wants some cookie bits! We are hanging out hoping for treats!

Lexy hid on top of the kitchen cupboards for most of the time, but she came down later. Even Leila knew right away that Lexy was the boss, and not to bug her. Leila was cautious and walked very slowly around Lexy, while Lexy glared at her.
Sam was asleep on Mommy's bed, and when he finally did come out, he was very unsure of the woofy in his livingroom. He was scared and hid on top of the cat tree.
Mommy and Sofi ended up seeing a show on tv all about matching service dogs with their owners, and they talked about how Sofi knew right away that Leila was the dog for her.

Leila mostly looked all around the apartment, and sat near the couch. But Leila was REALLY interested in the bunnies! She has never met bunnies before, and she wanted to go in their pen and see them. The bunnies didn't think that was a good idea though, and Lola was VERY stompy.

Mommy is sad that she missed taking a picture of Leila and I sharing kisses. Luckily she got lots of other pictures!
Do any of you kitties like woofies? Do you live with any?Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-88413545021688233572010-04-16T22:13:00.000-07:002010-04-16T22:22:11.907-07:00New VideosMommy's new camera has a video function. She took some videos of us. They are very short though, since Mommy doesn't have a memory card for it yet so there isn't much room in there. Also the camera was making funny noises during the video.

That is us all having sink time! We like to hang out in the bathroom. Lexy is begging Mommy to turn on the tap. The bathroom is fun. We can play in the drips, and wrestle in the tub, and play hide and seek in the curtains, and I like to "dig" on the mirror and in the sink.

We all get drips on our heads, and at night Mommy will pet us and say "Oh Yuck! You guys are all wet!"
It's fun to make her say that!

The next video is of the fun mess the bunnies made! They have been working very hard at ripping the pages out of the second phone book they got. This time instead of making a big nest in the crate, they decided to cover the whole floor of their pen with pages! They did a pretty good job of it I think!

Now, this last video is introducing the 4 final members of my family. I don't mention them much on here, but they sure are fun to watch! These four rats are all sisters. They are super friendly, and don't bite at all, even if I stick my paws at them, or get real close to them when they have their playtime on Mommy's bed.

The white rat is named Luna, and her name means Moon. The brown rat is Dhara (say it like dara) and her name means Earth. There is one that is pale orange, but you can't see that very much on the video, and her name is Sola, which means Sun, and the last ratty looks almost the same as Sola, but she is beige, and her name is Asta, which means Star. They are a little over a year old, and Mommy got them from her friend Lindy who has a rat rescue in London, where I live.

I watch them like they are my own Tv. This morning I was stretching against their cage, but my soft paws are almost ready to come off, and they got stuck on the mesh that is on the cage and I had to cry to Mommy and wake her up so she could come save me. There is mesh on the front of teh cage because Dhara and Asta are sneaky and skinny and found out they can escape from the cage if they squeeze between the bars at the edges. The mesh keeps them in... unless they decide to escape from the bars at the back that aren't meshed haha. I like when they escape, even though they just hang out under their cage and sneak treats, or go over to Mommy's bed and climb up to get attention. The don't do it very much at all anymore though, they mostly escaped when they were really little.

Well, I hope you liked our videos, and meeting the rats! I am sure I will have lots more pictures and videos to come now that Mommy has a camera!

Have a good weekend efurryone!Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-79654252481092131172010-04-13T21:55:00.000-07:002010-04-13T21:55:36.659-07:00Treats on Tuesday!Mommy got us some special treat foods!

It's a pouch full of yummy Wellness wet food! She got us three kinds, and we already ate two tonight!

We stayed up really late looking at all the cats there, and watching the videos. And when they say Big Cat Rescue, they mean BIG cats! Lions and Tigers and Bobcats, Oh My!

He would probably eat me! Yikes!

All the cats they have are rescued, and almost all the bobcats were rescued from really BAD places called fur farms. How could anyone put those gorgeous big kitties in tiny cages, and hurt them and then wear their furs!?!

Mommy said that there are lots of horrible places like that, and its not just big cats, they do it to all different kinds of animals. It just makes me sick to think of someone wearing an animals furs! Though, I guess my Mommy wears a lot of animal furs, all over her clothes! But that's cause we shed all over her, and not cause she buys cruel real fur.

If you want to wear fur, just let an animal shed all over you!

My Mommy would never do that, and I hope your Mommies know about how BAD the fur and leather trade is! I even heard that when humans buy fur that says it is raccoon or rabbit fur, sometimes it is really DOG or CAT fur! Especially if it is made somewhere in Asia, mostly from China.

People say Samson looks like a fluffy bobcat!

Anyways, we were watching some of the great videos on the Big Cat Rescue website, and there were a bunch of videos about a baby Bobcat named Hope, who was orphaned. She ended up getting raised by a kitty who is like me, and that kitty momma looked just like Lexy! A little skinnier...okay, a LOT skinnier. Baby hope grew up with that kitty momma, and the momma's two kittens, and eventually got released! How great is that!? It's nice to know that catkind is helping out our wild cousins!

You should all go and find out about our wild cousins, and if you have a little money saved up for new mousies, maybe think of donating it to Big Cat Rescue. They do wonderful things for the big kitties, I know if us little kitties were allowed to go on a tour there, and Mommy would take me to Florida, I would love to go see them for myself! Anyone near Florida want me to come visit and go for a roadtrip?Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-49632001831965032942010-04-11T22:30:00.000-07:002010-04-11T22:30:10.837-07:00Bunnies are WeirdDo any of you other bloggy kitties have bunnies that live with you?
The girl bunny here, Lola, is very very weird. I just don't understand her sometimes.

Tonight, she wouldn't stop stomping! Every 5 seconds she would go STOMP! And when bunnies stomp, its loud! Mommy says that Lola is a very noisy bunny, and that she usually gets stompy when she is grumpy, or frustrated, or when she wants something. Mommy gave Lola treats, and her evening veggies, but even while Lola was eating, she was still stomping! It sure is funny to watch a bunny try to chew and stomp at the same time!

Mommy thinks Lola wanted to come out to play again, but it is too late for bunny playtime. And its not like Lola didn't have lots to do in their pen! The other day Emily brought over a new phone book for them to rip up, and both Benny and Lola have gone nuts tearing it up and making a new nest with the pages.

Mom says Lola might just be extra bored right now because it is Spring time, and she is in a nesting mood, and wants to have babies even though she can't anymore. I don't know though, cause Lola is like that almost all the time! She loves to bang things, and stomp, and grunt, and beat up her litter box, and dig, and make messes and noise. I think she is just making double the noise because Benny is such a quiet bunny, so she is making up for him being neat and quiet.

What do you think? Is she just a silly messy, noisy girl? Or is it Spring fever?Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-17243955120039671912010-04-10T20:34:00.000-07:002010-04-10T20:34:19.348-07:00New Laptop Cord!Mommy has internet again! Her Dad went to a computer guy he knows and got her a new power cord for much much cheaper!

I am very happy since I can visit all my friends bloggies again! Including a very new bloggy that my good friend Cammy started! Make sure to visit it and say hello!

Remember Cammy? She is the cute half Maine Coon that stayed with us for awhile last month when her Mum Emily went to Vancouver. She came over the other night to play, but she was in a crummy mood and hissed and growled at us at first.

She was smart though, and wanted to sleep over, so when her Mum was about to go home, she jumped up high to the top of the fridge and cupboards so no one could get her down. And even when her Mum finally DID get her down, she whined and cried, so her Mum and my Mommy said if she wanted to sleepover that bad, she could! Yay!

All night we played THoE, and Cammy really likes to chase us around. She can get a little whappy though, and she doesn't have soft paws on, so it can hurt! It was still fun though. After that we all went and snuggled on Mommy's bed, and woke Mommy up so she would pet us all. I wish Mommy had 2 extra hands for petting. Then I wouldn't have to wait my turn for pets and scritches.

I bet this lady can pet a lot of cats at once!

The next day, Cammy was being silly when Mommy gave us all some of the good catnip. She was rolling in it and growling at us whenever we wanted to get some of it! Luckily Mommy always spreads it around so we all get some.

Yum! Mommy promised to grow me some this summer!

Catnip makes me feel funny, and my eyes go all big and I like to wrestle and be silly with Sam, and it makes me like to go singing! My favorite place to sing is in the bathtub, it echoes a lot in there! Plus its fun to jump out at people from behind the shower curtain! It sure scares Mommy when I do it in the middle of the night when she has to pee! She screams real loud!

Anyways after Mommy left for work, we had lots of naps and playtime with our toys, but Cammy started getting grumpier. She didn`t like our food, and she was hungry. Mommy had to work late that night, so when she got home, Cammy was REALLY hungry and REALLY grumpy! Cammy`s Mum came over to get her though, and she was being real grumpy to her Mum, and saying BAD words! I would never say those things to my Mum! I want to know where she learned some of those words, cause I never heard some of them before! Mommy says that when Cammy got home she ate a whole lot of food, and then she was happy again. We will just always remember that if Cammy wants to sleepover, she needs some of her own food!

I hope you all have a happy weekend, and don`t forget to check out Cammy`s Bloggy!Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-13573645662468553822010-04-05T18:13:00.000-07:002010-04-05T18:13:20.847-07:00She's BaaaaaaaaaaaackSorry Mommy didn't update you all sooner!

Someone (*cough* SAM *cough*) chewed up the power cord to Mommy's laptop, and it sizzled and smelled bad and now Mommy's laptop ate up all its power.

He may LOOK innocent, but he sure isn't!

So we had to tell Mommy EXACTLY what to write, and she will update the bloggy for me when she goes to her parents house today. Mommy says a new laptop cord is expensive, and since she didn't work much this month, she either has to wait a few weeks to get it, or borrow monies from her parents. I hope she borrows, cause I haven't been able to read my friends blogs in DAYS! And I can't wait a few more weeks!

Anyways, I really hope all you kitties and doggies and people and other critters out there had a good Easter! I checked under Benny and Lola's butts, but they didn't lay me any treats or eggs, just more poop pellets, and no one wants those! We all got treats though, and cuddles.

And by everyone....I mean Lexy too.

Her tail looks very pretty curled up like that!

Lexy went to the Adopt-a-thon on Saturday, at 9:30am, and stayed there all day. When Mommy came home from taking Lexy (They had enough volunteers) we were very confused. We looked all over but couldn't find her, and we were SURE she had left with Mommy earlier, but she didn't come back!
We wasted the day cuddling Mommy, cause we could tell she was sad, and we waited by the phone for the call that would tell us Lexy got a home. But it didn't come.

All the rescues that were at the Adopt-a-thon had very few adoptions that day. Mommy says it was just bad luck, it was the Easter weekend and lots of people went away, and it was REALLY nice outside so everyone was outside doing things. So only two kitties from Animal Love Foundation (Where we all come from) got adopted that day. And Lexy wasn't one of them.

So at four o'clock, Mommy got a ride and picked up Lexy and brought her home. Lexy was very scared, and was squeaking to tell Mommy how happy she was to see Mommy and not be in the scary huge room full of people again.

We liked to perch here on top of Mommy's jewlery box

The cages the cats were in were mesh, so the cats could see each other, and when Lexy tried to go pee, the other cats growled and hissed at her. There were lots of wonderful kitties, like two older Maine Coon siblings, and two young bengal-looking mixes, and another cat named Samson! He didn't look like our Samson though, he was fluffy and white, with light gray spots and a pure gray fluffy tail. Lexy says he was very handsome but she couldn't see him very much.

One nice lady was interested in Lexy, but she never came back. That's okay though, because Mommy says Lexy is welcome here until she finds a home, no matter how long it takes!

Lexy had to take a little bath after she got home, in case any of those other kitties had a flea or mites, and Lexy REALLY didn't like that, but she is still happy to be back home with Mommy, even if it isn't forever.

In other news, Mommy's sister is home for a few days, so Mommy finally got her camera! Yay! Only problem... it has no memory card, so she could only take 3 pictures at a time, and of course now she can't upload onto her laptop because of naughty Samson.

It's all his fault!

We all had a mini photoshoot before the Adopt-a-thon with a camera Mommy borrowed. Do you like our new pictures? Here is one of me!
I have read all my friend's blogs, but I haven't written any for mine.

Mommy has something wrong in her inner ear. She says it makes her feel really dizzy and sick. So staring at the computer for more than 10 minutes makes her feel really yucky.

Here are some things that have been going on lately:

Lola the silly bunny stole red licorice out of Mommy's purse! She ran around with it and wouldn't let Mommy get it from her. She ate almost a 3rd of it before Mommy could get it! It sure was funny to watch!

One of Mommy's ratties got a big abscess on her back. It was really gross, but now its all healed.

Mommy had lots of time off work, but she ended up being so dizzy during it that we didn't get to do many fun things with her. We got lots of cuddle time though!

The weather has been FANTASTIC! We just LOVE having the windows and screen door open so we can smell the spring air!

Now the sad news. These are Lexy's very last days here. On Saturday, April 3rd, Lexy is going to the big adopt-a-thon. Last year, all but one cat that they brought was adopted, so this is Lexy's big chance!
Mommy is going to give her a b-a-t-h tomorrow, so make her look her best, and clip her nails and brush all the loose fur out of her. Mommy is very sad to see Lexy go, since she has been here for almost a year. Lexy has been getting lots of special cuddles and lovin's and of course, getting brushed! I don't mind being brushed, but Lexy LOVES it! Mommy will miss hearing Lexy squeak, and getting poked for attention, and having Lexy beg Mommy to turn on the sink tap for her.

Lexy waves goodbye

On Saturday, send lots of purrayers and think good thoughts about Lexy getting the best home she can! Of course, if she doesn't get a home, she will come back here, but she has been waiting for a furrever home for a LONG time, and we are all hoping that Saturday is going to be her day! Paws crossed it will be!

Sam and I and of course Mommy will miss you very very very much Lexy! Good luck in finding your perfect furrever home!Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-54175522956148242802010-03-17T21:58:00.000-07:002010-03-17T22:11:53.606-07:00Happy St Pawtricks Day!Today is St Patrick's Day. Mommy made sure to wear green for it! I like green, since my eyes are green!

Mommy says that St Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland. I think that makes him a pretty cool guy, cause snakes can be bad! St Patrick must have been very brave to chase all those snakes! I would only chase a snake if it was a really little one. So I think St Patrick should be an honorary cat, for being so brave and getting rid of those snakes! My Mommy's great great great great...well, a LOT of great's - grandparents were from Ireland and Scotland, so I am glad the snakes were gone, so they wouldn't hurt Mommy's ancestors!

Sometimes I pretend that my Tail toy is a snake. I wrestle it like it is a mighty anaconda! I always win! I conquer it with my fangs of doom, and my bunny kicks of death!

In other news, our soft paws finally came in the mail! Mommy put them on last night. The blue looks very handsome with my gray furs, and looks nice with Sam's gold and black furs! I was okay when Mommy put them on my right paw, and then we took a break and I got some treats while Mommy did Sam's first paw. But when Mommy did my left paw I was very squirmy and was happy when it was done. I hardly notice them though, and I like that Sam can't scratch me anymore!

Well, I hope you all had a good St PAW-tricks day! Eat your Greenies, and catnip to celebrate!Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5841485982950011519.post-82486537955118961432010-03-13T19:01:00.000-08:002010-03-13T19:01:01.196-08:00Ghosts!Today there are GHOSTS!
I can`t see them, but I sure can hear them! They are howling, and shaking the windows and doors, and moving the trees, and making strange noises!

Mommy says its just the wind, and that because we are six floors up, and there are no buildings or tall things to block the wind on our side of the building, the wind is noisier.

I know she just says that to make us feel better though. Its obviously ghosts! They are even moving the balcony chairs and things around!

They can`t seem to get in here, but just in case, we are staying close to Mommy! She will protect us!

Hopefully it will work!
The video is pretty dark since it was taken on Mommy's webcam, but its cute none the less
If you have trouble viewing it, let us know in the comments!
Tonight she took some cute ones of us! Sadly, they will not upload since they seem to be too long. Now that she knows she can take them though, she can make sure to keep them shorter!

Soon Mommy says she will have her own digital camera, because she won one in an auction last night!
Mommy's sister, the one we met before who cut Mommy's hair, just finished a BIG fundraiser to help people who are blind in Tibet! They were fund raising for Love In Action.

They had lots of events, like a blind walk, a vegan bake sale, an online auction, and club nights! The team that Mommy's sister is in is called the Lima Beans, and today was the end of all their events, and they made 137% of their goal! Mommy says that is very good, and that they made $2058.50! That could buy a LOT of blinds for the people in Tibet! It must be really bright there if they need blinds so badly!

Mommy's father is a woodturner, and makes really pretty wooden bowls and other things, and he donated one to the auction, and Mommy's uncle donated one of his gorgeous paintings! Mommy was VERY happy to win the camera she bid on, and she also won a tattoo, and a piercing! Mommy says she will get a RING put in her NOSE! How crazy is THAT!? She is also getting a tattoo that she designed, that represents the four elements, among other things.

Its a Kodak EasyShare M340 Digital Camera

It has 10mp / 3x optical zoom / 2.7" LCD

Mommy will have to go to Toronto to get it, but she is excited! I think she should get a HUGE tattoo of ME! Wouldn't that be the best? She could even get it on her face so that everyone would see how handsome I am wherever she goes! Do any of your humans have tattoos or piercings?

There are two more posts coming VERY soon, so stay tuned! One is about what happened to Baby and her human, and the other is a tribute to MY girlfriend, Cammy! Sam thinks she is HIS girlfriend, but he is wrong!

See you later! Don't forget to knock things off all your Mommy and Daddy's tables, it keeps them on their toes, and they need that excitement in their life!Monty Graycathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10211261335214205382noreply@blogger.com3
